Chess Club
Our popular Chess club runs every Wednesday after school. Children from Year 2-6 enjoy playing games against each other with coaching from Mrs. Rees. Nes Warman joined us last year so if there are any more parents who would like to come and help, or learn chess with the children - don't be shy, you are all welcome. During the year we enter several chess tournaments against other schools.

Netball Club
Mrs. Eckley runs netball club after school for all the children from Years 4, 5 and 6.

Craft Club
Craft club is held on Monday lunchtime for children in Year 3 this half-term and for children in years 4 - 6 on Tuesday lunchtime after half-term. Mrs. Bryan and Mrs. James have been running this popular lunchtime club for 12 years. The children make a variety of items using a wide range of materials. The children often make their own designs. Mats made from felt for Mother's Day are just one of the items that have been made this year.

Year 3 - Monday lunchtime.

Years 4 - 6 - Tuesday lunchtime after October half-term.

Walking Club
This has been running successfully for several years now. We regularly organise an afterschool walk through the village and surrounding countryside. Children can choose the length of their walk by being met by parents at certain points or returning to school to be collected.

May 2009

Walking club is always very popular and Mrs Williams and Mrs Rees are organizing several walks this term. It is open to all the children in the school and is a great thing to do after a hard days work! You should all have had a letter by now but if your children are interested (and the letter has gone astray) then pop into the office and Jane will sort you out!

Weekly Parents Walks

Loraine Boddington has very kindly started leading weekly walks around the local area which have been going very well. The plan is that they will take place every Thursday leaving school at 1.30pm. Don't worry if you can't make it every week, come when you can. Everyone welcome!

Cooking Club
This club has now been running for several years. Watch this space to find out when it will be running this term.

Football Club

This club has been very successful in the past. Watch this space to find out when it will be starting again.

Art Club

This will take place on Mondays after school starting on the 14th September. There will be a cost of £1. Please see Mrs Williams if you are interested.
