Class 2 Visit to Hartlebury
As part of their history topic, Class 2 have been looking at life in Victorian Times. They visited Hartlebury Museum and pretended to be scullery maids and boot boys! Spices were crushed and added to much of the food prepared in Victorian times to add flavour and interest. Below: - tea leaves were sprinkled onto rugs so that dust would stick to them, making it easier for the servants to collect it with a dustpan and brush.
